Vancouver Farmers Market Opens This Weekend

The Vancouver Farmers Market opens this weekend at Trout Lake from 9am – 2pm. The Trout Lake Market is located between Templeton and Lakewood, just south of East 13th Avenue. There are seven different market locations that you can visit throughout the year with five markets in the summer markets and two in the winter.

Besides finding the best produce that the city has to offer, you can find an amazing assortment of baked goods including organic and gluten free items. I love testing the preserves, homemade canned items, speciality cheeses, artisan chocolates and other goodies that people pour their hearts into.

For more information about market locations and dates, visit the Vancouver Farmers Market website at www.eatlocal.org. While you are there check out my herb photo on their website.
